Antique Chinese rose mandarin cylindrical lidded box Daoguang Qing Dynasty

A very nice and high cylindrical lidded box painted in rose mandarin decoration. The detailed and high quality decoration continues and stretches around the whole box.

Based on the decoration and the way the people are drawn I date this pot to about 1820 to 1850, the reign of Daoguang emperor.

Condition:

Checked with UV light, Very good condition. Just one shallow scratch in the glaze on the inside of the cover (NOT hairline and NOT going through) . The scratch is only visible under UV light, but cant be seen with the eye or photo. The box cover have some fritting around the edges. General wear and paint loss. see pictures for details.
