Payment Options

Default payment method is STRIPE card payment which is the safest and cheapest way to pay.

If you prefer to pay with Paypal we need to add an additional 5% on the purchase price to cover for the Paypal fees taken by Paypal. If you still want to pay with Paypal please contact us so we can adjust the price and open the Paypal functionality.

General information about Shipping 

We ship only using Postnord which is the official government regulated postal service company of Sweden. Prices of shipping varies depending on weight of the parcel and also the size (dimensions). We always aim to provide you with the best possible price for shipping without compromising on the safety of the antiques during transportation. When shipping porcelain, we often use double boxes which means larger dimensions of the box (more expensive), but increased safety for the objects transported.

You will be able to see the shipping cost of your item once you entered into checkout.

Examples of shipping cost

1000g - 27 USD

2000g - 32 USD (If the value is less than 200 USD )

2000g-35 USD (If the value is over 200 USD) 

3000g - 62 USD

4000g - 72 USD

5000g - 85 USD

10 kg - 140 USD

For example, a normal porcelain plate cost around 25-35 USD to ship.

Combined Shipping

When purchasing more than one object from our store we can help you to save money by using combined shipping. However, the options for combined shipping highly depend on what objects are purchased, some objects are difficult to combined due to size and safety concerns. Always contact us if you wish to combine shipping so we can work out the best solution for you.

Traceable and trackable shipping

We always use traceable shipments so you can track and follow your item the whole way to you. You will receive a mail from us with the tracking number once your item is shipped.

购买多件物品的合寄:

By buying any item from Nordic Antiques Sweden you as a buyer commit to and agree to all of the following conditions:

Disclaimer:

The judgement of the condition and age, color of the object is based on our personal opinion and experience. If you have a different opinion, we are happy to discuss with you. Ultimately you have to make your own judgement before you purchase any object from our store. Remember that the color of the actual object may be different from your perception of the object when you view it through your computer monitor or mobile phone. We always try to take pictures in natural light and do not use filters to make the appearance as close to the real thing as possible.

Payment:  

We use Stripe as the mode of payment. Item will only be shipped upon full payment received.

Shipping:

Items will normally be shipped within 2 business days after receiving payment. If a different shipping lead-time is necessary due to any reason, we will inform you. For combined shipping charges please contact us. The item is posted from Sweden, please inform us in advance if your country/location has any specific requirements or charges applicable.

Returns:

If you find that the object is different from what we have described in the condition report of the object or showed in the pictures, you have the rights to return the object to us within 14 days of receiving the item.

If you want to return the item because of the above reasons you need to do the following steps as soon as you have received the package from the delivery person:

  • - Open the shipment in front of the delivery person.
  • - Take a picture of the box that shows any external damage to the box.
  • - After opening the box, take a picture on how the object is packed in the box.
  • - If you suspect that the object has been damaged or exchanged during shipping, you need to file a complaint to your mail delivery company.
  • - Take high definition pictures of the object that shows the condition.
  • - You need to inform Nordic Antiques Sweden immediately after you received the package.

If your complaint shows that Nordic Antiques Sweden has not described the condition of the object correctly, we will pay for the return shipping of the object and you will get a full refund after we receive the object and check that it is in the same condition as when we shipped it to you. ( Friendly reminder: You are buying an antique object, not a new or unused item. In addition to the major flaws mentioned in the condition report, you can expect to find insignificant micro nicks/fritting's, wear and other traces of usage. If you need additional pictures or information, please contact us in advance.)

If you regretted the purchase and would like to return it to us for any other reason you have the right to do so within 14 days of receiving the item.

If the buyer is located inside EU, the buyer have to pay for all shipping fees. If the buyer is located outside EU,  the buyer have to pay for all shipping fees plus the Swedish customs processing fee (55 USD), The object shall be returned in the same condition as when you received it. Packing the object carefully to avoid any damage on the return shipment is your responsibility. Your refund will only be paid back to you after we receive the object and have checked that it is in the same condition as when you received it from us.

Liability of damage during shipping and customs handling:

Nordic Antiques Sweden will not be responsible for damage of goods that happened during the shipping process. Our responsibility ends when the object has been packed safe and carefully and handed over to the post office in Sweden. We will also not be responsible for if the object is damaged during customs clearance. If you as the buyer suspects that the shipment may have been damaged during shipping or during customs clearance you need to do the following directly after receiving the shipment: Open the shipment in front of the delivery person

  • ·Take a picture of the box that shows any external damage to the box.
  • ·After opening the box, take a picture on how the object is packed in the box.
  • ·If you suspect that the object has been damaged or exchanged during shipping, you need to file a complaint to your mail delivery company.
  • ·You need to inform Nordic Antiques Sweden immediately after you received the package. We have kept the detailed pictures of the object from the day of shipping. Any difference in the condition of the object will be compared and judged by us. As stated above, we are not responsible or liable for any damaged that have occurred during shipping or customs handling or after the object have been unpacked and handled by you as the customer.

International buyers:

Please note that import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. So please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
