An Antique Chinese Blue & White octagonal plate with figure story Kangxi period

Beautiful and rare blue and white Kangxi octagonal plate with figure story decoration. The border of the plate is decorated with precious scholar objects. It is very rare to see Kangxi blue and white figure decorated plates in this octagonal form. Kangxi blue and white at its best!

Condition:

Checked with UV light. The plate has a long hairline which can be seen both front and back, one chip that has been re-glued and a small missing nick that has been filled and retouched. One shorter hairline to the rim. General fritting and micro nicks around the rim as typical of this period
