A pair of antique Chinese Handcarved Walnut shell Nutshell Hediao 18 Luohan

One of the walnut is carved with 18 persons and one with 16 persons (if I accounted correctly). The carving is very beutiful and finely done (see pictures). I'm not sure about the age but my guess is late Qing or republic.

Condition: Good overall condition. One of the nuts with slightly darker areas on it. One of the nut with a slightly bigger opening to it. General wear due to age. (see pictures)
