A pair of Chinese antique Canton Enamel on Copper wine ewers, early 19th c #2975, 2976

Very rare and unique pair of wine ewers from the early 19th century, likely Jiaqing period. They have a turquoise ground and are decorated with double happiness characters and 5 bats.

Qianlong period, 18th century.

See last two pictures for a similar ewers in the collection of the Thirteen Hongs Museum in Guangzhou 广州十三行博物馆 and the Shenzhen Museum 深圳南山博物馆

Condition:  

Check with UV light. The ewers has multiple places of retouch, restoration, and damage. (see pictures for details)
