A pair of Chinese Antique vases/lamp-foots, Qianlong period, 18th century #2755, 2756

A pair of beautiful rose mandarin vases converted into lamp-foots. Qianlong period, 18th century.

Condition:

Checked with UV Light:

#2755: has got 2 short hairlines to the rim (1,8 cm and 0,8 cm). slight glaze fritting at the side of the bottom. 

#2756: Some damages to the plastic fixture (not impacting the function).  

Both with scratches and general wear, and some oxidation of the metal part. Manufacturing flaws. Both have a drilled hole for the cable on the base and are fixed to a wooden stand.  Mounted for a lamp at the top. Have not removed the metal mount or the wood stand to examine the inside or underside of the vase. The lamp is functioning when tested and is fitted with a North European socket.  No guarantee is given on the function of the antique electric lamps. See pictures for details of these issues.

Height:  Only the porcelain part is ca 23 cm, total high: ca 34 cm

Electric wiring is suitable for Scandinavia. I recommend to change to a modern electric socket before use for safety.  Sweden uses 220-240 V 50 Hz electrical current.
