Chinese Antique painting, Republic period #2637

Ink on paper with decoration of ladies and a child.

The painting has got an interesting history and provenance. It was given as a farwell gift to the Swedish missionary couple John Edwardsson (1896-1951) and Alfhild Edwardsson (1902-1979) active in Yunnan province, based in Tengyueh (Tengchong), (腾冲) during the 1930’s.

Condition:  Stains. Creases. Wear. See pictures for details.
